Founders Christopher and Nicola Cox are sculptors, makers and creative directors whose shared practice has grown into one of Britain’s most respected ateliers for sculptural furniture and lighting. Drawing deeply from the traditions of European art, centuries‑old craft techniques and the expressive forms of the natural world, their work spans bronze, forged iron, casting, patination and hand‑finished detailing.
The couple’s early careers unfolded in metal and glass workshops, antique restoration studios and shared independent practice. In 2002, they established their first formal studio in the garage of their north London home before marrying in 2004 and continuing to work side by side – artistically, practically and entrepreneurially. What began as a small partnership has evolved into a world‑renowned atelier crafting limited‑edition and bespoke sculptural works for private collectors, interior designers and ambitious architectural projects. Every piece is made in‑house by highly skilled artisans, supported by a culture shaped by the couple’s dedication to training, collaboration and craft excellence.
